I’ve written several genres over the years. After some success under a pseudonym (Marianne LaCroix), I had some major life events--too many major changes to list! So writing took a backseat. Now I return to the world of writing and publishing with a renewed focus on historical women’s fiction. I am planning to pursue my MFA in Creative Writing starting in 2025.
As you can see, I can write the tortured heroine from personal life experience. I did find that special man just like my heroines! I had rules for any man coming into my life: He had to have a decent car, decent income, decent home, no drinking, no smoking, and accepted my children. I found that man. I married him in 2021 in Tallahassee's beautiful Maclay Gardens.
I retired from nursing after 24 years and currently working on my dream to be a full time author. In my off time I enjoy painting, especially watercolors, reading, knitting, playing video games and sewing. I love my pets and I post about them on Instagram. If anyone knows me, I love my dachshund Mocha.
